MacAlisters are a small clan found on the northern section of the Kintyre Peninsula in areas such as Tarbert, Loup, Kennox and Glenbarr.

There are several tartans associated with Clan MacAlister.  The MacAlister modern is shown on the home page (also known as the MacAlister 1950).  There is also a MacAlister Ancient, MacAlister Dress, Glenbarr Hunting, and others.  The website Scottish Register of Tartans has the official list of all approved tartans.
